Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRVIN NISENHOLT With sadness, the family of Irvin Nisenholt announces his passing suddenly on January 14, 2004, just short of his 80th birthday. Irv is survived by his wife Esther (nee Globerman) his son Mark; daughters, Judy and Susie; their spouses Mariana, Etan and Joe; grandchildren, Isaac, Michael, Daniel, Sarah and Zoe; sisters Beatrice Hatklin and Pauline Laimon (Sam) and Esthers siblings, Morley Globerman, Abe Globerman (Naomi) and Nina Chisvin (Al). Irv will also be missed by many friends, some of whom go back to his childhood or his years at St. Johns Tech. Others know him from his ties to the Peretz Folk School, his working life at Globerman Bros. and GIII, his summer life at Winnipeg Beach and his years at Reh-fit, which helped him recover from a heart attack in 1975 and where he enjoyed the company of a lively group of fitness buffs. In these last years when failing strength curtailed Irvs exercise regimen he could still be seen at the theatre and the symphony, attending lectures, out with his coffee klatch or at lunch with his pals in the seniors group. Irv was a man of good humour who loved music, friends and family and will be remembered by all who loved him each time we hear a jazz piano, a Yiddish melody, or enjoy laughter with loving companions. Funeral services were held at the Shaarey Zedek synagogue Friday, January 16. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba 477-7525
